1-2 Punch Knockout

First off, I want to thank the guys and the coaches for a job well done for the season. Shame our season had to come to end so rudely but it will be something for the returning players to build on for next season. Now...for the 1-2 punch. Thought we did a tremendous job staying with Manvel in the first half especially when we sent a message to the Mavs by going down the field on our first possession. The first punch came on our first possession of the second half. Our guys allowed Manvel to mess with our heads by getting those personal foul penalties. We were begining to roll and then the infractions stopped us. This allowed Manvel to break the 21-21 tie. And of course, the second punch was the brilliant onside kick call. No one expected it in the stadium except the Manvel sideline. Once down 14 points and the fact we could never stop them from scoring, it was just too much to overcome.

Yep that was probably the tipping point. Manvel was at their own 17 yard line to start the 3Q, 2 plays + 2 personal foul penalties (30 yards) and they were into Indian territory.
