13 make Academic All-State

I've said it before and I'll say it again: PN-G is king when it comes to academics in this area. I think this article affirms that statement.

Congrats to the selections! And to Coach Faircloth and the coaching staff who obviously emphasize academics.

While it's common for PN-G to have several selections, this is the largest number I recall seeing in one year.

WOW ... the Indians are getting it done on the field and in the classroom. Nice work by these young men and by the PN-GISD teachers and coaches who worked with these young men to make them successful. We need to have this sent to the PA News and publish this story to everyone in Mid and South Jefferson County.

This is really a "Good News" story. Congratulations to these young men for this honor. Congrats to Coach Faircloth and staff for making academics a priority.

At the banquet, it was announced that 13 to make Academic All-State was the 3rd highest # from any school in the entire state! (not sure if he meant just 4A or all) WOW! That makes this even MORE impressive!!! Way to go guys, keep up the hard work on & off the field--it will pay off!!! :woohoo:
