PNG Area Marching Contest 2011 - Pyramids of Egypt
The band placed eleventh out of twelve today. For what I believe is the third time in a row, Friendswood and Dawson have advanced to the state competition.
I've watched the video and I noticed that a few of the problems I spotted in the video from the region competition were amplified as well as a few more musical errors, which I'm chalking up to nerves. The band seemed a little shaky in the beginning, but I think they came together well after the first song and made a good performance - one that should have earned them a higher ranking than eleventh, in my opinion.
Congratulations, PN-G band members! Now enjoy the rest of football season and have a little fun. You've earned it.
