Just a few thoughts while watcing the game:
Katy has NO D1 prospects on their team this year. Yet here they are in the state championship game. And what is all this talk about PNG not having enough talent to win consistently? With the right coaching, the Indians can and will be competitive.
The smallish crowd attending this game at Reliant Stadium, in Katy's back yard practically, illustrates once again the incredible fan support of PNG.
Katy runs a fairly basic offense including the power I formation.
Must be hearing things but I could have sworn I heard Katy's band playing Cherokee.
