As we head into Johnson's highly anticipated senior season, it goes without saying that he has proven himself to be the best all around QB to ever play at PN-G. Long, Doty and Morse all had equally talented arms, and Long remains as the best field general in modern times, but Johnson will go into the books as the best dual threat QB to ever walk on PN-G's field.
Johnson's God given talent and work ethic is special, generational, and has led an average talented team several rounds into the playoffs the past two seasons. But I think Johnson has been equally blessed to play at PN-G. Great school spirit and student support, fan support, good facilities, and playing in a program that runs an advanced system that has prepared him for immediate success at UT. All factors that have made his high school experience something to remember and build upon. No other school in this area could provide that combination.
Credit is also due to the many other talented and dedicated teammates that contributed to that success. Riggs, Hughes, McGough, Stansbury, McZeal, and a host of solid offensive linemen over the past two seasons.
It's been a great two year ride so far, and here's hoping that the team will step up and have a deeper playoff run in 2018, all as Roschon Johnson rewrites the PN-G QB record book in his final season.
