I bet in 74-76 we had more all staters than either group. Seems like in 75 we had 7 or 8.

On coaches leaving, Clearman, Troy were with Doug the whole time.

Just checked this homepage there were 23 all staters from 74-77

That's almost 6 every year.

This run and the 53-55 run has to be the best in terms of winners. And remember only ONE team went to the playoffs not FOUR

1974-77 was an outstanding group of players. I don't know if we'll ever see another group like that.

I remember hearing that one of the teams, maybe the 1977 team, never lost all the way from Junior High through their senior year, which of course ended in a lost to Plano in game 15..
