Talk about a rip off Rocschon had 2k more yards and 20 more touchdowns than the all state first team QB

I was shocked not to see RJ , I'm told that the stats are based on regular season games only. What was RJ 's regular season stats , I know Png only had 9 regular season games this year

Don't know why everyone is shocked by the APSE every year in every classification for this area, this area always gets snubbed in their representation of an All-State team.

And also in cases where the HC doesn't turn in the ballot you wont see anyone from that squad on the APSE one. I know ours turns in one every year, obviously Coach Faircloth turns his in. I can't speak for others around here.

My favorite name on this year's list is: BUMPER POOL, 1st team linebacker...
So did I miss something or is Roshon Johnson not on the list - somewhere???

Find it hard to believe there are 10 QBs listed from 1st team down to honorable mention that are better than #2

RJ is a All around better QB then the players listed on All State Team but they go by the regular season stats , Png only played 9 games this season, that hurt his numbers imo is why he didn't make it.

Not taking anything away from the players selected, but this isn't an indication of top talent or top stats. These are subjective selections by sportswriters.

From scout.com, July 2017. Those QBs will be playing at the next level. Not sure if the selected QBs on this list will be.

Port Neches-Groves (Texas) High School 2019 four-star quarterback Roschon Johnson committed Friday night to the Texas Longhorns during an unofficial visit to Austin for the Horns' "Stars At Night" camp.

The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Johnson is No. 118 overall in the Scout 2019 national rankings and the No. 7 quarterback nationally. He's the No. 3 QB in the state of Texas for the junior cycle, trailing only Grant Gunnell (Texas A&M pledge) and Grant Tisdale.

Indianfan what do you think the reason he didn't make All State is ? RJ is still up for the best football player in Texas award do you think that has anything to do with it ?

No clue. But we do know that Preston Riggs deserves every bit of his recognition. And probably more.

Best receiver in PN-G history.

Its simple they do not give enough sports writers from our area therefore your dallas fort worth area and the houston area will always put those players first. Its a freaking joke. period.
