That sounds great! It's ashamed that you have to dig around the internet to find the rankings. The Port Arthur News should be on top of that...

Class 4A
Team Rec Pts Pvs
1. Lake Travis (22) 8-0 247 1 - Will go D1 as they are the second largest school in District 25-4A
2. Denton Guyer (3) 8-0 214 2 - Will go D1 as they are the second largest school in District 5-4A
3. Longview 8-1 181 3 - Will go D1 as they are the largest school in District 13-4A
4. Waxahachie 8-0 178 4 - Will very likely go D1 - they are the 4th largest school in District 16-4A but the 2nd largest among the top 4 in this district (Hewitt Midway being the largest within the top 4)
5. Angleton 8-0 160 5 - Can go either D1 and D2 from District 24-4A...depends.
6. Dallas Highland Park 7-1 121 6 - Will go D1 as they are the second largest school in District 10-4A.
7. Hewitt Midway 7-1 84 9 - Will go D1 along from District 16-4A along with Waxahachie
8. PORT NECHES-GROVES 8-0 47 - Will go D2 from 20-4A.
9. Aledo 7-1 38 - Will go D2 from District 6-4A as they are the smallest among the top 4.
10. Brenham 8-0 34 - Will go D2 as they are the second smallest school in District 18-4A

Looking ahead and looking at rankings is something that bored fans do, but if the Indians can win out in District, they will likely enter the playoffs as the second highest ranked team in the D2 bracket, but the possibility remains that they can enter as the highest ranked team in the D2 bracket should the final standings in 24-4A place Angleton in D1.

I just pray we stay focused and execute for 4 quarters from here on out. Personally, these rankings make me nervous more than anything. It's nice to see, but........... My stepson's team, Round Rock Stony Point, was ranked #4 this past weekend, and now they're not in the top 10 in class 5A. They got beat Friday and it was painful to watch, so it makes me nervous.

Thank God for this twitter stuff! I'm standing up cheering when no one else is at the games  GO INDIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
