Austin Westlake coach Todd Dodge to retire after 2021 season

Austin Westlake coach Todd Dodge will retire at the end of the 2021 season, the coach announced on Thursday.

It is always nice to call your own shot and go out on top. He was a great QB at TJ and he has been a top notch HS football coach for many years. Classy guy and a winner. I can remember watching Dodge & Duhon (Don Holloway, Robert Smothers, et al.) lead TJ to the state title game vs. Odessa Permian in 1980. It was cold inside the old Texas Stadium. Hard to believe that time has flown by and Todd Dodge is now old enough to retire.
