I'm putting this in this forum, since, as a rule, more people will visit this thread than the others....

The following is a copy of an E-mail that I received from Booster Club Board member Mitch Murdock...

The PNGABC 1st Annual Golf Tournament will be held May 22nd at The Patch in Groves. This will be a major fundraiser as well as membership drive for our booster club. Please send this email to anyone you think would be interested in joining the booster club and/or anyone that would like to play in the tournament, sponsor a team , sponsor a hole, or even sponsor the food! There will also be an opportunity for you to bid on playing golf with the coaches (pretty cool since the tournament is the day after the Purple and White Spring Game).

We really need you guys to push this event! Just think, if all of us could get just one person or business to sponsor a hole for this event, we could purchase alot of equipment to keep our Indian athletes at the top of their game! As always, thanks for supporting our Indians through the PNG Athletic Booster Club.

Remember, the Booster Club provides monetary support to ALL sports, and thus far has paid for several thousands of dollars of equipment and supplies for the athletics program. And there are many more things that the program needs, for the support of our young Indians.

Also, this weekend, at the PN Riverfest, look for the Booster Club booth, and sign up (or renew) for the club. Now is the time so that we'll have the money to kick off the 2010 Football Season with a bang!

Booster club will be at Riverfest Fri and Sat. Signing up new members and passing out membership forms and golf tournament forms. Membership fees have dropped to $25 along with other membership options. The PNGABC.com website has been modified to show these changes on the join page and the sign up forms are also under the Forms tab on the website for download and mail in if you do not want to pay online. It's been a great year and we have helped our athletic department out tremendously for our first year. Thanks to everyone and its time to get re-signed up so we can help again.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
