I will donate $500...apply $250 each to the 2 remaining coaches...I do not live in Port Neches or Groves and I will not be able to play golf with the PN-GABC or the coaches, but I'm happy to mail a check. Who do I make the check payable to and where should I mail it Friday evening? As for who gets to play golf with Coach Garza and Coach Cary, I'll let those 2 outstanding coaches pick a friend for a relaxing day at the golf course.

As an aside, we've got to get the money raised to build the indoor practice facility. If we want great coaches to be at PN-G, then we've got to have that indoor facility. The top notch programs in 5A and 4A have indoor facilities To raise $1M, we need 100 PN-G alums to donate $10,000 ... or better yet, we need 500 alums to donate $2,000. We've got to find 499 alums...I'll take the 1st slot for $2,000.

I hope the PN-GABC golf tournament is fun and raises money for all PN-GISD extracurricular groups. Here's to good weather and a great turnout.

Go Indians. Peace.

You can count me in too. lucards can keep us posted with the totals as they mount. I know four 75/76 ex's that will do 25K and have talked to BF on the phone last year about it. They are like most of us, in that we would like to know what will be done with the $$$ if we never get enough raised and at what point will that be determined?

I agree that BF will not stay unless we provide the best. While the stadium is 1st class we have a long way to go with banners around the field, indoor facility, 1st class concessions and meetings/Supper type events year round. I am guilty on football/baseball only but if all sports get involved think of the energy and excitement.

Bark, the Booster Club took over the concession duties last year, and I must say we have gotten rave reviews from the fans. It was a huge upgrade from the previous years. We are still working on some things, and will have a few surprises this fall. One thing that we are gonna do is have a featured special each Friday. ie, Celeste Tamales, Pistolettes from Larry's, Turkey legs, Gumbo. We are working with local businesses and civic groups.

There you go! new blood new ideas. I do not go the concession stand -never have - my wife brings water and we always go out ot eat before. Celeste is the old El Charro family. What about Sea Ranch he is a BC guy?
