Seeing them continue on makes the loss sting just a tad less..........(just a tad). 8)

Except for how the players showed such poor sportsmanship. I hope they get hammered.

Agree on the questionable sportsmanship. More specifically their defensive players. Watching the game on texanlive.com, you can see them mocking the PNG sideline.

College Station should play for the 5A-Division II state championship. I think it will be College Station v. Aledo. College Station will beat Calallen...the Wildcats from the suburbs of Corpus Christi will not have the team speed on offense or defense to hang with College Station. Calallen can try to control the clock with 3-yards and a cloud of dust, but College Station has the play makers to win by 10+ points. College Station v. Aledo should be one heck of game. PN-G has no shame in losing to College Station...they were just the better team. Very proud of the 2016 PN-G Indians.

Go Indians. Peace.

Calallen wins the semi-final matchup over College Station 31-30. CS had 2 shots late in the 4th quarter. Very questionable play calling by their HC though as Calallen stopped them on a 4th and foot play, and then later on a 4th and 2.

I'll tell you what folks, if the Indians can get a little better on their offensive line, and avoid giving up the big plays on defense, I like their chances against any team next year. Indians would have given Calallen a solid game.

And interesting to see Calallen running the old Wing T formation on offense. Goes to show you, if a team can execute, every man on every play, good things will happen.

I was dead wrong about that game. Even in 2016, execution and solid coaching wins games. Is there an emoji for eating crow? :thud:
