I saw that on yahoo home page. They got lucky that the ball didn't take a bad bounce, then it would have went the other way. It was pretty cool though.

Actually, Ned. All-Stars exicuted that very same play against our PNG all-Stars (sr.) on Sat., and score a TD on it. As a coach, I was hollering at the kids "LIVE BALL"...but it didn't help. :-[ They stomped us.

That's alright. I'm disappointed that all of the PNG teams won Saturday....except ours :thud:

Wasn't surprised though. After playing NED black in the regular season, I knew what we were in for.

Thanks for posting lateral bounce play by Mesa(Ariz.) Mountain View HS. I was trying to figure out how to alert Coach Faircloths staff to this tick play. Not that they would have time to practice this play but they could make the Indians aware of how it works so they could defend against it.
