This paragraph was taken directly from the DC website, under the section "Top Coaching Performances...Best Of"

Region III: Brandon Faircloth, Port Neches-Groves >> As if the 5-0 record wasn't already impressive enough, keep in mind that this is Faircloth's first year at PN-G and his first year as a head coach, ever. And consider: Last year, he was the offensive coordinator at Odessa Permian. Since his departure, the Panthers have been struggling badly to move the ball. I think Faircloth has quietly been the name to watch all year.

Aw Heck Dave, we coulda told you all that!

As I told someone earlier, I believe in:

FAIRCLOTH FOR PRESIDENT!!

WTG, Coach! And, of course, kudos for Harmon and Crew. And, also, I don't want to overlook the great coaching team. Assistants are doing their job wonderfully. Sitting in the rain, freezing, is a very small price to pay to support the PNG Indians. Looks like the Glory Days are back again. And Coach if you are listening I want at least one more state championship before I die and the years are getting shorter all the time.

It's tough to respect those 4A rankings.

Case in point, these teams are ranked in the top 25. PN-G remains below 25.

22. Texarkana Texas High (2-2; 0-1)
23. Abilene Cooper (2-3; 0-0)
24. SA Alamo Heights (3-2; 2-0)
25. Ennis (2-3; 0-2)

That's o.k. IndianFan, the only poll that really matters is the one at the "END" of the year.If we keep working hard and take each game one at a time, then we will be in that year end poll!

 I am glad to see that Coach Faircloth is getting the recognition that he deserves for what he has been doing with the program. Recognition also needs to go to all the other coaches and the team. I don't care about rankings, let the NDN's do the talking on the field !!! We all know that this area and especially PNG won't get the recognition that is actually earned and deserved. I am very proud for Coach Faircloth and his staff and most of all the players for all their hard work and desire to win every game. They believe in the system and the coaches believe in the team. That is something that we have been needing for a very long time. This is what PNG football is about !!! HONOR-PRIDE-TRADITION !!! A new beginning, a new era, a renewed tradition of winning !!!

Also remember that Central went four deep last year and are currently 5-1 with the one loss to a rival 5A and they get no respect. This area is frowned upon by the statewide media and maybe rightfully so since we have not had a State Title in 4A or 5A since 1988!

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
