After watching PAM v. PN-G, I think PAM has a shot to make a deep run in the playoffs. #25 is a game changer. I'd do everything possible to put the ball in his hands in open space because he knows where the end zone is located and he can get there in a hurry. The PAM defense is the fastest group I've seen in a long time. The DL can hold their own at the line of scrimmage and the LBs are fast, very fast. PAM fans always knock their QB...but all the young man needs to do is manage the game, protect the ball, and make a few throws to keep defenses from loading up to stop #25. I would find ways to get the ball to #25 in the open field and let him do his thing. #25 + a legit defense = good shot at playoff wins.
For PN-G, we just need to protect the football and get it to our playmakers #2, 5, 6, 10, 11, et al. Maybe in the playoffs, we can spice things up and give the ball to #22 and #26...find a way to get as many playmakers on the field as possible. On defense, just keep grinding. Bend and do not break. Avoid giving up the big play...just make teams march the field. If they do that, then we can live with the result and get ready for the next series. Don't give up cheap points and keep playing hard like you have done all season. I've enjoyed watching this year's defense...they just keep playing...good play, bad play, it doesn't matter, they just keep coming strong. #3, 4, 7, 17, 22, 26, 32, 34, 47, 48, and the big guy in the middle #68.
I hope 22-5A has a good run in the playoffs with PN-G, PAM, Vidor and Nederland/Livingston/Central.
Go Indians. Peace.
