Did anyone else see any of the Marshall-Nederland game last night? The was one of the most poorly executed games I can remember watching. Nederland will be lucky to win a game the rest of the season. But Marshall didn’t look too hot either. Maybe it was the late hours and the wet field.

Can’t help but wonder how things might have turned out if the Indians could have met Marshall further along in the season.

Or in a game where it wasn’t 120 degrees in the middle of the day.

I think FBM was going through the motions. Rain delay and late start. It affected Nederland, too. The dogs had a long bus ride, rain delay.... Both teams were out of synch. Nederland has good size on the OL, but young playmakers. On defense, it does not look like a Nederland team. They are small. Talent runs in cycles. Every team has a year or two where the talent level just isn't there. Nederland will bounce back.

We played well against FBM, except for spotting them 14 points right off.

I watched the FBM-Nederland game for as long as I could stand it; turned it off early 3rd qtr. They played the game just to get it over with, was how it looked to me.

Dayton is capable of beating FBM, and I hope they do.
