What is going on with the Freshman. I do not want to pick on the young men playing, but they have zero points through 3 games. Is it a lack of talent, or is it the young guys struggling with the new offense?

I think do to the lack of teaching at the Jr. High level for the past several years. Going to take some time.

Didn't the current crop of Sophomores that are tearing it up on JV play for the same JR High coaches as this years Freshman? They also went undefeated as Freshman last year!

theyve actually scored once this year on a kickoff return and the same kid almost ran one back today.he was stopped on the 5 yrd line.unfortunately we didnt score.couldnt ask for a better group of kids and hopefully they can turn this around.there is some talent there but there not very aggressive.coaching is not the issue they just got to get better.

Thank you, Badndn. Not all the blame should go to the Jr. High coaches, they are the same coaches that coached the kids that are on varsity this year and they seem to be doing ok. There was not alot of interest from the higher ups before this year. I was at the PNMS game Tuesday night....there in the end zone stood Coach Faircloth and several of the varsity coaches. Believe me, the middle school coaches do appreciate the interest and encouragement.

The Freshmen team is learning a whole new system. Last year they ran the old offense of PNG's. At the middle school last year they were only taught some very very basic techniques. (GMS) They do have alot of talent out on the field and they are looking better each and every game. I know the O line is doing alot better than their first game. They had some good sized holes opened up yesterday in the first half. I think as time goes by this season these young men will improve 100% !!! They have a good back and some good sized recievers. The D needs to be more aggressive. Last night the A team played the first half and the B team pretty much played the Second half of the game. Experience is what this is about right now. They are improving !!! Lets give em some support because they are working very hard. The Varsity coaches are working with these boys as well. I think the one thing they need to work on is the passing game. The protection is there its just that they need to get the ball to the recievers.
