Freshman player who broke his neck?

I'm seeing something on Facebook about an unnamed freshman player who broke his neck in the game Thursday and is currently in ICU somewhere in Houston. Does anyone know anything about this?

Haven't heard a peep about it "Kid"., And I was at the school all day. Not sure if there is any validity to it.

There was a Bridge City and a Baytown Sterling both with neck injuries and back boarded and taken to the hospitals don't know which was broken heard the one in Baytown was bad

I heard from more than one person that one of our Freshman was hurt pretty bad at the game in Hamshire Fannett Thurs. Not positive about the location but I think that's what was said. One was a Mom who has a son on the team and she said it looked serious and they didn't have a ambulance on site and had to wait for one to get there. She said she had to leave early and they were still checking him out when she left, but it looked bad and he wasn't moving. I also heard the same thing as BamaKid from a friend who saw it on FB, but I am praying it's just a rumor!
