We got a phone call yesterday evening telling us that the Freshmen and JV teams will be playing at the Reservation instead of in Lumberton. Game times are the same. Guess with the threat of rain they don't want their field messed up. To bad the Varsity game wasn't moved to the Reservation !!!

My son informed me last night that the coaches are going to insure that every Freshmen player gets good playing time. I think this is good for the Freshmen boys. This keeps these boys interested in playing and actually getting playing time. This helps to keep them interested in the program. I've known boys who hardly ever got to play as Freshmen in the past. This is a good thing. Experience is the key factor for the Freshmen team regardless of wins and losses. Good strategy from the coaches !

I thought it was standard for the Freshmen and JV games to be played in the opposite stadium of the varsity game.

According to the PNGISD web site, the Freshman game location which was going to be in Lumberton was changed to the Rez at 5pm. And the JV game time which was always going to be at the Rez was changed to 6:30pm after the Freshman game.

Yeah for some reason the Freshmen game was moved to the REZ. Probably because of weather and not wanting to tear up the field in Lumberton before the varsity game tomorrow night. Yeah I just confirmed the JV game will start at 6:30 and not at 7. Freshmen start at 5 pm.
