Overall we had a good time at The Babe last night! Except for their smart mouth ticket takers!! I dropped my mom off at the front so she wouldn't have to walk far, and I could't carry everything, so I had to leave her cane and stadium seat in the car, but I told her I would go back and get it after we got our seats. So, I walk up to the ticket taker and ask her if there was a stamp or something I could get cause I needed to go to my car. She says.."Nope...you go out, you has to pay to get backs in!" I said, "Are you kidding me, I need to go get my Moms cane and seat cause she has a hard time getting around!" Then she says, with her hands on her hips.."I guesses you shouldn't have lef it in da car!" I told her not to worry cause I would find a way out! I then went down to the gate where some BPD were standing and explained the situation and they politely let me out and said to come back to them to get back in! Of course, I gave her a friendly wave as I walked past her going to my car... ;D! All in all, I understand the rule, but the attitude was NOT neccessary!

My pregnant wife had a drink in her hand as she walked in. The lady asked her to throw it away which was no big deal. As we were walking off she said "they ain't about to happen here" while staring my wife down as if she was sneaking in alcohol. My wife asked if she was talking to her and the lady responded with a go to hell look and turned around. Totally uncalled for.

There are a lot of folks with very backwards ways in Beaumont and Port Arthur. Keep that in mind next time you hear a remark, or feel a need to apologize for PN, Groves, Vidor, Nederland, etc. Ironic to say the least.

I also thought the having to pay for every time you went out was ridiculous. Also they could have cleaned off the top 10 rows of all the bird poop.

I can understand why the ticket booth "ladies" were so obnoxious....they have their Masters degrees in English...and look down on the common, uneducated folk
