In commemoration of the 1975 and 1977 appearances in the state finals, I wanted to share a photo or two of the extremely cool, limited edition Texas Stadium replica I was fortunate enough to acquire. This replica is about 12” x 8” x 3” H in size and is so detailed that you can you can read the 1/32” or smaller names and writing on the Ring of Honor, Super Bowl banners, scoreboards and other signage. Amazing detail.

Use your imagination and you can almost see half the stadium filled with purple and white.

Maybe in ‘77. Unless I have the years mixed up, in ‘75 it was freezing cold in the upper deck. At least was cold to me as a kid. Back then there were no suites ringing the top of the stadium and the cold air blew right through.
