To come out tomorrow and help us turn Merriman into a PURPLE wonderland for our Football team, band, Iettes, Cheerleaders, NDN Spirit, and G-crew! We'll be starting around 1 pm. There's something for everyone to do...even the kids!

Want a little sample of what we'll be doing? Proud Band Mom donated a AWESOME banner and my daughter has beautifully painted WE BELIEVE on it. It will be hung and lit up in the yard of a house on Merriman! Pngmom4 and her daughter have also donated some signs.

Please consider coming out to help anyway you can! Just think how proud our kids will be as the buses drive them through a BLIZZARD of purple and white!

I know some may be concerned about the rain, but it is forecasted to stop early this afternoon, so please bundle up and bring your rain gear just in case and let's make this happen. The material for the streamers is plastic so it will be fine if it rains, and I plan on covering any paper signs in plastic wrap if I can.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped decorate Merriman!! It looks GREAT! Still got a few more signs to put out and telephone poles to decorate tomorrow morning. The PA News came out and took some pics of us hanging the WE BELIEVE sign so look for us if you get the paper! If anyone has signs they want to put out...feel free to hang them before you head to the game tomorrow!

We could use a little help in the morning. I'm thinking of going around 10. Proud Band Mom and I were gonna decorate the two telephone poles on the corner of Merriman and Magnolia and put out the signs RIP Graphics donated. I may hit a few more poles if I can. We just didn't have enough manpower to do all the poles. It won't take long cause I'm heading to Baytown around 1

It was great to meet some really nice fans today. I hope each of you get to drive by and add something to the collection. I can tell you this.....there are cars slowly going up and down Merriman tonight. A lot of the kids - players, Indianettes, band members, G-Crew, etc. are really excited. Also one of the defensive players said that it felt great to have the community put out the purple and white - they have heard so many negative comments - and it was nice to know that a few fans did believe.

These kids - all of them - need to know that we believe in them. Tonight made a difference to a lot of them. Please stop by tomorrow morning and drop off a sign, tie streamers, etc. The bigger the better !!!

I can help. I did go by and pick up the ones we put out this morning. They are so nice that I did not want them to be ruined. These signs are the ones made by Rip Graphics and were on the corner by Jack In The Box. So if anyone would like them or wants to store them, I have them, just let me know.

Haha..I just started a thread about them...I thought we got jacked...lol. I was thinking that guy that asked about them this morning may have took them...my bad! Thanks for picking them up. I'd like to have one but I'll call RIP and see if they want them back.

Maybe someone could store the signs that are plastic and/or durable and we could use them next season again--I'm quite sure we will need them again for a deep run.
