It is not like the days of old. The crowds have been thinning out for years. People have more entertainment options and they attend the games using different platforms, e.g., radio, Internet, and the www.pngindians.com/message board. Unless PN-G makes a deep playoff run, I doubt you will see 20,000 and 30,000 fans showing up. Shifts in society happen, I guess.

BH best team in years...best team in district...golf clap for them. PN-G fought and left it all on the field. All you can ask for is that the kids play hard and give themselves a shot to win. They did that. PN-G came up short. Credit to BH for that. Hold your heads up, Indians. You fought like a good team fights. HONOR, PRIDE, and TRADITION. Get healed up and focused on Nederland. Go across the tracks and kick their ass.

Tough loss. Congrats to Barbers Hill on their first DC since 2011.

Could have easily been a different outcome and a win for the Indians. If these teams played 10 times it will likely be a 5-5 tie. But it is what it is. Win with class, lose with class.

Definitely. Without that easy TD on that fumble, Matt Stepp’s prediction would have been spot on, a 35-33 PN-G win.

But we’ll never know, they might have had time to score a TD anyway.
