Any word on the seriousness of the injured player last night Maybe #42?
Praying that it was mostly precautionary measures that took so long on the field.

I believe (just from the care given) that it was a fracture. They weren’t doing any orthopedic tests only immobilization coupled with the expandable cast. And the pain shown could be high in location (worse) I think if it was “tib/fib” it was compound. My gut says fibula hopefully not the head of the fibula or hip. Only conjecture from what I saw on the field.

The injury occurred while engaging a double team block on the goal line. The second guy just chipped him, but the other big guy finished the block pretty well. It looked like a lot of torque and downward pressure on his right leg. He grabbed at his general knee Area.

For those concerned that we are discussing a player injury, I’ve purposely not mentioned his name out of respect for his privacy.
