Is there a freshman on varsity?

is there a freshman on the 2008 varsity football team?
because i thought i had heard that, but on the roster it doesn't show one..
but i graduated last year, so i didn't recognize the name...

oh and i asked my friend and they said the last name might be lopez or something.. im not sure.
hasn't it been like over 20 years since a freshman has made varisty though?

A freshman was put on the team roster for the last 3 games, as a place kicker. Browning is the last name

D. Gohlke played LB in the second half of his Freshman year.
Pretty sure that K. Wagaspack was kicking for PNG his Freshman year also?

It ain't like College where an 18 yr old and a 21 year old are not much different in stature. A very mature (physically and mentally) HS Freshman and a HS Senior are still worlds apart.
