Everyone remember Jacquizz Rodgers from Lamar Cons. last year? He is the starting running back tonight for Oregon State tonight against USC on ESPN and is looking good.

Rodgers has 8 first downs and 114+ yards and about 40+ receiving on USC in the first half. Against the #1 ranked USC Trojans!

PNG team of last year should be proud and realize that they would have gone far if not for Rodgers who is amazing even at the next level.

Rodgers toasted the USC defense...i think our PNG D did better against him last year!!! Anyways, I like to see USC go down...they have such an easy road to the national championship but not anymore! Now a deserving team has a shot at getting in...

You do realize that the receptions were not Jaquizz, but his brother James.

Interesting to see how Jaquizz, who was a top recruit, signed with the Beavers out of loyalty to Oregon State for signing his brother the year before when he (James) wasn't getting much interest elsewhere. Looks like OS signing James was a great move. It really is Mr. Rodgers neighborhood in Corvallis! ;D

I inflated his numbers a bit because I wasn't paying attention to the live game stats. He only had 27 yards receiving in the first half including one 17 yard reception. Still impressive though.
