He was a good defensive tackle last season. Roster indicated he was a junior in 2015. Just curious.

Yes, Jake Piekenbrock is a senior that was a very good DT last year on varsity. I believe he has a back injury and was ruled out for the entire year. He’s just one of several extremely talented seniors that have not been able to set foot on the field all year for us. That is another example of what is making this season all the more impressive, is all the talent that is standing on the sidelines not able to perform due to injuries. Very Sad for those guys!

Thanks for the info. Him, Runnels and Schultz were all starters or key players last year, and all out with injuries for the entire season.
