Katy 38, Cibolo Steele 0

The Katy Tigers dominated the Cibolo Steele Knights 38-0 holding them to slightly over 100 yards of offense. Steele had scored 588 points this year over 14 games (42.0 average).

When one of their outstanding defensive players, JoVanni Stewart was was interviewed after the game, he mentioned repetition in practice and hitting is what makes them so good on defense. They play like they practice. Katy has 9 shutouts this year.

Also fyi, Katy runs the power I and mixes in play action passes. And they are known for not beating themselves with mistakes or sloppy play. Hmm, sounds historically familiar and a good model to follow. At least the mistake free execution part. ;D How can PN-G teams reach that goal?

Yes they did even more impressive was the game between Austin Westlake and Allen. Allen has 6000 students vs AWL's 2600. Talk about the UIL sticking it to teams. how is it possible to compete on a yearly basis when you school has a 3400 student disadvantage. They need to fix this type crap.
