Lamar hanging in there with #4 Baylor

An outmatched Lamar is not backing down from Baylor.


Well, as soon as I typed that sentence, LU fumbles to Baylor.


Baylor 42-24 late in 3rd quarter. Cardinals were driving the ball before that fumble.

Lamar made a nice showing!!!!

The Cardinal defense looks salty even though they've given up 600+ yards. Lamar's offensive line is over matched. #9 for Lamar is a good player. PN-G's Jayce Nelson had a 13 yard reception and has fielded some punts.

Well, turning ugly now in the 4th as LU is worn out.

So Proud of those Cards for staying scrappy throughout the game. Money talks and they never had a chance, on paper, but they sure played with a lot of heart and, I think, shocked them in the first half.

It was a little disappointing to see some of the Baylor players exhibiting poor sportsmanship. Almost as if they were looking down on the Cardinal players.


I hope Briles straightens them out. I suspect he reminded them at halftime that a little team from Beaumont was making their #4 ranked a***s look bad. ;D
