Relatively impressive list of coaches.

It's exciting to think of LU fielding a football team again. With the quality of local talent and some decent coaching, they should be able to compete very well. And if they recruit locally they'll see some decent attendance.

Any news on remodeling/enhancing the stadium and football related athletic facilities?

Seeing some of our Mid-County kids playing for Lamar would be awesome. (But not quite MCM, Indian...LOL). Not many things beats that game ;D .

I haven't heard of any specific upgrades on the stadium but I'm sure there will be some seeing they will be trying to get the attendance.. I've never saw a Lamar game when they had a team, so I'm not familiar with their stadium really.

You can see press box work going on if you drive past the stadium on MLK. Past that, I'm not sure. I'd love to see Stump get the job. I've met him. He's a great guy, and really knows how to coach.

I really like Jim Bob Helduser. I used to work w/ him at Goodrich. He's pretty cool.

the firm that designed relaint has been hired by lu to work up plans and estimates.from what i hear its going to be top first class.expect more names to added to the list.franchionne was on campus last week so tubbs is serious.we all will know by may 1st.

I'm not a Fran fan, but HOLY COW! Has his career sunk that low, or is LU football looking that impressive?

Somebody in the know let us know if they stadium post designs online. Also, please keep us updated on ticket prices when they become available. If they're not overly priced, I'll get season tickets.

Good grief... I wouldn't want 'Fran' stepping foot on my campus. He's probably got enough cash stashed away from his A&M scam to last the rest of his life so maybe money isn't a priority for him.

You could depend on Fran to stick around to build the program anyway, it is a proven fact that he is liar, just ask the folks over in Alabama.
