If you noticed on the last series against LCM, BF put Nelson in at safety on defense. I think you put Nelson, Gizzi, Jalali in the defensive backfield along with Knox if he's healthy. This is the best athletes you could put out there on D. Now the big question would be can they play defense like they do on offense? Not knocking any of the current DB's, but I think it would help in the last two games that are a must win to get into the playoffs. Don't hammer me too bad for this observation ;D

It's a good observation, but I think using them just in special situations (I.e.prevent a long throw,etc.)works better. Our skill players are the best in the area because they don't play both ways. I think the coaches have done a great job of utilizing their players.

Maybe play them in some situations against Central, but you really wont need them much for coverage against Vidor Friday night.

I had a good feeling about a win before the LCM game and I have the same good feeling about the next two. The coaches and team have adjusted where needed. That being said, BF is one heck of a coach and if he thinks he needs more adjustments depending on the opponent, I trust his judgement. I also don't think he has used all the plays from his bag of tricks. I for one am ready to go kick some Pirates out to the Gulf of Mexico.
