Find them, tar and feather them and parade ‘em around the track next Friday night.

Yeesh. A little back and forth is always fun, but not when someone tries to permanently damage something. Stupid is as stupid does I guess.

I remember when PNG redid everything with the turf, new track, and everything else. Before the Nederland game that year they broke in and spray painted the new purple track, new turf and other buildings. It’s a shame that at every school they have these little pricks who think it’s funny to deface another schools property.

It was actually before the TJ game. Not Nederland.

I remember when Ned burned ‘PNG sucks’ into the grass field a week before MCM. 1996 maybe? If so I think we beat them at their house that year.

Yes at my HS our rivalry is Arkansas High (vs Texas High)
Before the season they salted a big A at the 50 yard line. It took a couple of years for it to go away and have grass grow there
We probably had the best turf field in the world (they didn’t mow it it was a special kind of grass that just kept weaving itself the longer it got (they had a hand operated “steam roller” to just pack it down (not saying they NEVER mowed it aaanyway (you have to sometimes over clarify lol)
I’d say school related vandalism is on the down slope since our time

Kids regularly were killed in accidents the week before our game. It was every night “egging” etc. of course we “identified” the enemy by license plates (Arkansas is a natural) but usually there was a couple of kids killed in reckless driving accidents (high price to avoid an egg hitting your car)
