Let It Go

I have removed the entire SOC game thread. It was out of control and in the best interest of all, is now history.

We have nothing but pride and support for the 2024 Indians. Losing a single game does not diminish anything about the 2024 team or program. PN-G is bigger than that. So rather than replaying the comments, many stated out of emotion, we will let it go.

I will also say congrats to SOC on the win and good luck moving forward. The Bears made more big plays and earned the win. But I will continue to object to any team, at any level, that uses such tactics and suggest that it is not what sportsmanship and the game is about. Especially not in high school football. That applies to all teams including SOC and PNG.

Looking forward to the 2025 season with an amazing returning varsity group and new players coming up from the undefeated JV. And joining with the PNG faithful to proudly continue support of the team.

I think we should be a pretty good team next season. It was good to get this new season in the new district under our belts, and finishing up as district champs, and to get shed of the "defending state champs" nonsense.
It'll be a tougher district next year I think; and all of the teams lose a lot of Sr starters, except for the West Fork team, which will be pretty much all Jrs and Srs next season. Also, I already have a feeling that next season, the Indians will play the Bulldogs like the Bears played the Indians last night.

I think Nederland will greatly benefit from the weight room program in the off-season which we need because we're losing a ton of starters Coach Rich is well liked on this side of town despite the way the season ended with 3 straight losses that said I don't think the Indians run is over SOC will be the region favorite but I expect PN-G to be there too

AMEN! No doubt SOC plays DIRTY and gets away with it but nothing would’ve changed the outcome last night…they were BETTER!
They made more plays. Not overwhelmingly better in every area. Our guys never backed down and were delivering plenty of clean football blows that they will feel all week. Indians will need to work hard and be ready to meet them or any other team next season.

Very true…I meant to say better than last year. It just wasn’t our year and that’s ok…I’m sure we’ll see them again and it’ll be our turn to dish out some REVENGE!

2 State Championship runs and a quarterfinal appearance. What more can you ask for in todays landscape of high school football. We will be back. Next season looks to have some great talent. Honor, Pride, Tradition.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
