OK. We have talked about the new field, flags for the stadium, the law suit, ticket sales. Now lets talk some football.
What does everyone think about our up coming season ?
watched about 20 of the boys work out today at powerhouse. Man let me tell you those boys are working their butts off. Some of them have, bigger ones, lost some weight and got alot faster, others have put on some serious weight and gotten stronger and faster, some have just outright gotten faster. Looks like our D line will be a decent size. All 6 ft and above 200 lbs. Mangini is 6'2" and around 215-220, the other end is around 6' and 210 and Riley the nose guard is around 6'1" and 250. Looks like a tough front. Backers are going to be monsters. Secondary is full of super quick speed. Our D looks to be a very solid group. I'm excited to see how well the passing game is going to click after 7 on 7 work outs over the summer. Anyone watch any of our boys in the 7 on 7 games ? O line is going to be big and thick and very strong. Should be able to push D's around. My only question mark is our kicking game. anyone know of who our kicker will be ?

I'm getting real excited for August 13th. Can't wait to see the team back on the field. Alot of people on other venues have written the team off because of their Freshman year. After their Freshman year they seemed to turn the corner and get things together. I truly feel we will have a very good team. I think we will surprise alot of doubters. Our first 3 games are going to be tough. It will prepare the team mentally. We are playing 2 ranked teams. WOS and Summer Creek. Also our scrimmage is against Texas City who is picked to either win their district or come in second. Coach Faircloth is truly testing team with the teams they have to play. I know my son looks forward to it.

Does anyone know anything about the incoming freshman team? Have they been working out or any thoughts on how they might do this year.
