Livingston has some great kids, but they should be no match for the NDNs. This is the type of game where I want to see PNG get back to perfecting fundamentals, cleaning things up as we move into the meat of the schedule.

He's talking about the Nederland scandal. Waiting on a verdict from the UIL, regarding the eligibility of Neds QB. If they lose, then they forfeit the Livingston win.

But - don't even think about going to another popular sports website to try to discuss it, or the thread will be immediately locked because they don't promote "rumors".

He's a transfer from PAM. They have Blaysin Fernandez in now. I believe he is a sophomore. Some Nederland fans say he is pretty good.

Is it the rule, to sit the player in question while waiting on the UIL decision?

 OK. Now someone really needs to spill the beans.

The player in question is a transfer from PAM. He played QB in game 2 loss and started game 3 against Livingston in which Ned won 59-9. If ruled ineligible, Ned would have to forfeit the win against Livingston. Not sure if there would be any penalty for game 2 since Ned ended up losing that game. The ineligibility issue revolves around the player's residence and whether he is living in Ned as his permanent residence.

What could be crazy if Ned has to forfeit is, the final game of the season PNG plays Ned. IF things play out and Ned is playing for that 4th playoff spot, AND PNG wins that game, PNG could eliminate Ned from the playoffs BUT end up sending PNG to division 1. Things could get VERY interesting.
