With Nederland's unfortunate forfeits and our strong start we should go toe to toe with PA for the District Championship.

Our team really looks good and even though last year was supposed to be "the year" we are in better shape this year- in a strange way - and with Nederland being down we should really put it on them this year to get the monkey off our back.

As a side note: any rumblings on the Crooper/ Balsomo contest. I wonder what Crooper and Balsomos feelings are toward sports.

I didn't realize that Cropper was running against Balsamo. I gotta get me one of those "Cropper" signs for my yard now!
I don't know Cropper's stand on sports, but my understanding is that Balsamo opposes anything that Faircloth promotes. Balsamo is a big Burnette fan (and so am I), and is still pissed about losing him.
I'd be thrilled to see him go!
