As many of you know, Doneane Beckcom has served as the Assistant Band Director here at PN-G since summer of 2007. Unfortunately, Ms. Beckcom has elected to resign this position effective at the end of this school year. She has done an excellent job and will be sorely missed.
For the past few months, an interview process has been underway and it was officially announced at the PN-G Band Banquet preceding the Spring Concert last Thursday that Phillip Maldonado of Hardin-Jefferson will be replacing her at the beginning of next year. We welcome Mr. Maldonado and hope that he will be successful in his endeavors here at Port Neches-Groves High School.
