Next Game: @ Crosby

Haven't watched much of Crosby, but from what I'm hearing the DL is pretty good and the offense is less explosive then in the past. I feel we have a shot, but we definitely need to play our best game.

Crosby beat the Ant Mount ..not that it means we can't beat them, but I feel that we are definitely the underdog and will have to be at our best with no early turnovers and defense ready to play right away.

Best hope? Ball control and score every time. Burn clock, score, and force them to punt once or twice. And on defense, don’t allow the QB and RB to run wild every time they touch the ball. Get to the point of attack and tackle. Sounds simple right? ;)

PN-G will need all three phases of the game ready to play from the opening kickoff. PN-G can't give Crosby easy points. No TOs. Crosby will get enough points on their own. If the Indians can get off to a good start and a few breaks fall in favor of PN-G, our kids can compete and sneak out of Crosby with a W. If the Indians are not ready to play and turn the ball over, it will be a long night. The Cougars will be good, but the Indians have played well against Port Arthur and Beaumont. The Indians will have seen the speed and quickness that the Cougars will bring. Here's to a good game and a PN-G win.

Go Indians. Peace.

I’m hoping that the Indians will counter Crosby’s offense by playing some of the top offensive players on defense for key downs. For example I think a Cory Burt on the defensive line would be a force. Or a Blake Bost, 6‘4” Grant Pearson and Brady Nail in the defensive backfield. Even if it’s only 5-10 plays it could be a big difference maker.
