Next years team ?

Well those of you that have been and watched some practices, what's your feel for next year ? I know several players are either injured or are playing baseball still. So we are missing some starters. My feel is our D is going to be very tough. Our O has some work to do, but overall I'm very impressed with the passing game. AJ has one heck of an arm and the receiving corp looks very good. Remember Chipman has not hardly practiced because of Baseball. To me it looks like AJ is going to have some very good hands to pass too ! AJ is also a very fast runner. I also like the fact that we have several backs to use on the offense. Mix it up and make the opposing D guess. I for see this team as a playoff team and they will only get better as people heal and others are able to practice and play. I think we will have 2-3 receivers that are over 6'1" which is good for AJ and they can all get up and grab the ball.
Defense has some incredible speed all around. The Front line is very strong physically. When you start looking at the D line the smallest one out there currently is around 5'10" and around 220. I think next year the D line will be average of 6' to 6'2" and around 230-250 lbs. And these boys have the summer to grow and workout and put on some more meat. My son has put on another 1/2 inch in height in the last 5 months. He is now over 6'. Mangini, on the D side, D end is around 6'1" - 6'2". We may end up with a bigger D line than last years.
I know I'm biased somewhat about the team, but these boys have been in BF's system for their entire high school playing time. This team looks sharp and very aggressive. They know what to expect and work hard. Looks like another good group to me.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I've been to a couple and agree with your accessment. It will be exciting to see Faircloths "1st team" play these are his boys and now with 4 years of his system its all his success or failure.

This is the year to see his HC talent. And I know he will shine.

I believe Coach Faircloth proved his HC talent in his first year when he went 10-0 in district and two rounds deep into the playoffs with a team the previous regime said, "Had No Talent"..................But that's just me!

I been to a couple of spring practices myself, And I like what I see. The D-Unit is going to be a beast to be reckon with in district. As for the O-Unit Just as good as last year. I like are QB, Smith, He will have a quick and speedy backfield with Wommack along with a handful of good receiving weapons in Chipman, Cervantes, Rose, Coleman and Murdock. Watch out 20-4A foes, The Purple Pride express is still rolling.
