I would like to commend offensive and defensive lines. I think they are the best that’s ever played at PNG. That’s a big reason for winning a State Title. They are the one’s that never get the recognition. They were totally awesome 4 all district on offense line 2 all district on defensive line. Unheard of. Congratulations to all.

+1 Indian Pride. The OL and DL may be the best groups that have ever put on purple and white. I've posted this before, but I will post it again. I went to multiple games this season and the other team's 5 OL could not block our 3 DL. In the 4th Quarter of the state championship game, SOC could not block the PN-G DL. Those three guys are some talented DUDES. The OL. What can you say? It's all been said before. The Indians leaned on the OL for 16 games and those guys carried the load and led the way for all 16 games. Much love to the PN-G OL and DL. Take a bow, gentlemen.

I remember a couple of o lines of similar size. For example the one Chase Bertrand ran behind. This 2023 line is the best I have seen in my 40+ years watching PNG football. This defensive line also has competition but to me is at the top. Matt Burnett had a couple of defensive lines that were down right mean. Example 1992-93 season. Jake Burnett, Thad Stein and company allowed 10.2ppg. BUT we cannot forget last seasons 2022 OL and DL as they took us to State. PNG has enjoyed many great linemen in my time watching PNG football.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
