"I think it's a tribute to our culture and that's something coach (Tom) Herman has instilled," Anderson said. "We're very physical every day in practice and we go against a very physical defense."

"They're getting a little nasty to them which is something you need from the big guys up front," tight end Andrew Beck said. "But I think that can be traced back to January. All offseason those guys busted their butts in the weight room and got to the size they are now where they can push people around a little bit more than they have been able to in the past."

Just like the difference in some of the MMA fighters from the East and Brazil. They are meaner because they go all out training. It’s like a real fight.

Practice like you play. Play like you practice.
Both approaches need to be tough with one goal in mind. Never let up, and win. I don’t even like seeing teams let up in the second half with large leads. Pedal to the metal until the last whistle blows.
