in 49 days, it's PNG vs. Barbers Hill--our first game of the season. I can't wait. I am tired of the heat, the boredom, and general lack of excitement this summer is providing. I can't even win at the casino. :'( So I will count the days until we all get to see the Indians on the field again.

Speaking of yards, I've been watering mine daily for the past 3 weeks. Going to cringe when I get my next water bill!!!!

Justafan, its too hot to mow!! Wish I could just let mine grow but it would probably just die for lack of water. A couple of years ago we offered several people a thousand dollars to re-open the water well on this property or dig a new one and I could find no one to do it! We have over 3/4 acre here in the city and, frankly, our retirement pay doesn't cover $500.00 water bills! Guess we'll enjoy our grass being all green in the winter months. It's the pits! Got a new puppy (my $1000.00 dog--no kidding) and can't even walk him it's so hot. Well, that's all I've got to gripe about so I guess I'm doing good! Hope it cools off before August 28th!
