Glad to hear it. As I have said, he seems to be a good man and role model for the kids as well as a good coach.

I was confused IS Ryan Cox the HC or an assistant?

Coach Priem is the assistant HC. He coached at Lake Travis thru 3 SC seasons. Not sure why they wouldn't just give him the HC job.

I wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave. We sit around and brag what an great fan base we have, how many fans we bring every Friday night, but cannot raise enough $$$ for an indoor training facility. If as a community and former Alumni cannot raise the money it is a embarrassment. Why wouldn't he want to move on to a community whose willing to give their children everything to succeed. We as fans have to understand we'll never be a powerhouse again. That goes to growing areas with $$$$$$. At this rate we'll be lucky to still be 5A in 4 or 5 years.

A lot of truth in those words regarding the local support and the growth factor.

But you never know. With a special group of well coached players, PN-G can make it to the top.

Sadly, 'several hundred thousand' wasn't near enough (from my understanding, anyway). I think I read on here somewhere that the price point got up to $1million?! And that was for a SMALLER IF! I think that's completely insane, and probably a blessing in disguise that we didn't have the money to fund that project when we got the quote back. I find it hard to believe a metal building with no utilities would actually cost that much.

I don't have kids, but I love and support all things PNG. I think they absolutely deserve the best of the best. That being said, I do NOT think they NEED the best of the best to be successful.

With regard to the HC position Faircloth applied for, does anyone know who got it and why Faircloth either didn't get it or turned it down?
