I know San Augustine, and they lost a ton of talent to graduation last year. Primarily KJ Davis, Murr, Teel and Borders on offense, and quite a few on defense. I don’t see them being a favorite to win state in 2018. But they do have some talent coming back and I wish them the best.

SA has surprised everyone including their fans. BTW, their fans travel very well for a 2A community.

Tijay Thomas, D. Barnes and K. Barnes are all burners. And they’ve got some big ol boys moving dirt for them. Thomas has over 2300 yards rushing this season. Their defense has stepped up to.

San Augustine will have a long, long drive back home tonight. Mason 52, SA 8. And it could have easily been much worse. Mason scored 3 touchdowns in a 30 second span.


Worst beating I've ever seen the Wolves take.


Great season though, they were one of the last 4 teams standing. With most of the team back again, maybe 2019 will be the year to get past the semifinal game.
