Made my donation MANY moons ago!! People talk about being PNG Faithful, but its hard to believe only $55,000 has been raised. Very disappointing!!! 30 yrs ago, the money would've been raised overnight.

It would be nice to see some kind of make shift booth set up at the home games with a representative from the Booster Club available to encourage and assist with taking donations on site. I think it may be a good way to get the word out and make it convenient for people attending games (current residents and alumni) to make donations.

I think this is a bad time for the same reason Nederland's bond proposals had bad timing: the economy. Plus, a lot of the folks who received those fundraiser letters with their season ticket forms are senior citizens who weren't on fixed incomes thirty years ago.

Have they tried soliciting donations from the plants?

I'm pretty sure they've been talking to them, but ya gotta remember that they get hit up for everything that comes out.

I really like the idea of setting up a booth at the games!
