Reading those 7v7 scores, it appears that the PN-G passing game will continue to be lethal. We may have a new QB, but the results will be the same. More wins for the Indians in 2019 and 2020. More district championships, more playoff runs, and if things fall right in the playoffs, more serious challenges for a state championship. A big and mean OL and another big-time QB = lots of wins. Just need the defense to come on strong throughout the season. Need to avoid key injuries. Not sure about our depth. Excited about our team in 2019.

Go Indians. Peace.

PNG led by Faircloth is a system school. With one exception in 2012, PNG quarterbacks have developed and succeeded, as have the receiving corp.

Doty 2009-2010
Miller 2011
Walker 2013
Morse 2014-2015
Roschon Johnson 2016-2018
Blake Bost 2019...

RJ is a phenomenal individual, talent and now college prospect. His unique skill set was incredible to witness and probably the best ever at PNG. Now on to the next great PNG quarterback and other skill players. It’s a new day with much to look forward too. Blake Bost will work hard and develop his own unique skill set, and what looks like no drop off in the passing area. Running the ball will need to be a shared responsibility and just like the last 10 years of great quarterbacks, PNG has an equal history of great running backs. The past three seasons have just been a case of the QB also playing the role of RB. Time to split that out this season and make another district run.

If the defense can rise, watch out region 3 and beyond. Here come the Indians down the trail of victory...

I agree, Indian Fan. The ingredients for another strong year are in place at PN-G. It all starts with a big OL that, I hope, will impose their will on people, another good QB throwing the ball all over the yard, a couple of RBs with enough speed to make some big plays, and WRs that will get open and make catches in traffic. If the defense can make some stops and we stay away from injuries, the Indians will be on the warpath! There is something about hearing Cherokee and seeing a sea of purple in the stands that makes kids play to the best of their abilities. 2019 should be fun. I hear we have some talent at the FROSH and SOPH levels that will surprise some people. I'm hoping some of the locals will elaborate.

Go Indians. Peace.

We have been blessed by athletes, development, system development, good coaching, great community support, and a good school district. It’s been a good decade for PNG breaking all time records across all sports. This has been a historical decade. ONG owes a debt of gratitude to Coach Faircloth and Coach Comeaux for their vision and leadership across all sports. The 2017 class won more games then any other class in history and this years class made the playoffs in every single sport also an all time record also consider the band had the most students ever over the last couple of years.

Indians eliminated from the Consolation group by Klein Oak.
Still great experience for the young Indians. Most teams failed to even qualify for the state tournament.
