PN-G’s Lunceford named to South team

PORT NECHES — PORT NECHES – Port Neches-Groves offensive tackle Greg Lunceford was selected to play in this summer’s Texas High School all-star football game July 26 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
The two-time Port Arthur News Super Team offensive line selection, Lunceford (6-3, 260) will play for the South all-stars at this summer’s annual game sponsored by Fuddruckers.
PN-G head football coach Brandon Faircloth told The News on Tuesday afternoon of Lunceford’s selection.
The South team will be under the direction of Nederland native and 30-year coaching veteran Don Clayton, the head football coach for the past 10 seasons at Katy Cinco Ranch.
