The Port Neches-Groves Educational Foundation provides grant opportunities to teachers of PN-GISD for innovative instructional approaches to enhance academic excellence. Since the creation of the Foundation, approximately $75...,000 has been awarded in grants. Funding for grants is primarily achieved through fundraising, memorials, and donations.
A current fundraising project is the creation of the PN-G Educational Foundation Cookbook. This will be a compilation of recipes from individuals who have been associated with PN-GISD. Each submission will include the name and a notation of how the individual has been associated with the district. We are asking for your help in this project by requesting that you submit a recipe for publication.
If you wish to submit a recipe, please mail the recipe to PN-G Educational Foundation, c/o Peggy Harrison, 5545 Beaumont Ave., Groves, Texas 77619 or email the recipe to plharrison@sbcglobal.net. Be sure to include your name and a notation of your association with PN-GISD (i.e. year of graduation, student participation group, subject taught, etc.). Your submission needs to be received no later than November 15, 2010.
On behalf of the Foundation, I wish to express our appreciation for your consideration to participate in this project. Working together we can help our educators create greater learning experiences for the students of PN-GISD.
