“He’s got them playing at a fever pitch and that area over there will play at a fever pitch,” [Brenham coach] West said. “They’re serious about their football.”

Indeed, some Indians fans have written e-mails to both West and the Banner-Press expressing displeasure over the game being held at 10,000-capacity Thorne Stadium. PN-G is expected to bring about 8,000 fans to the game.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
