  First of all, as a Die Hard Indians Fan, I wanted to say "Thank You" to the PNG Indians Football Team for making this year a very memorable year. There were records broken, lots of sweat poured into practices and the games, lots of celebration moments and some tear jerking moments as well. Not to worry players, life goes on and there will be a tomorrow. You guys went out there and played your best each and every time you put those pads and jerseys on in order to represent the city of Port Neches - Groves. I would like to go on record and say congratulations to each and everyone of you. Each one of you played a vital role, whether you started or stood on the sidelines anticipating your turn to get in there and give it a go. Life is a game, you play the best you can and deal with what comes at you. At the end of the game, no matter what the outcome is, you pick your head up off your chin and take that step forward. That step is tough but it is in the right direction in order to help you get over what just happened. I think that the entire community is behind you all because at each game, more and more people showed up to cheer you on. That says a lot when you got almost the entire community behind you. You seniors that just finished up your senior year of wearing that PNG jersey, I'm sure that you will never forget the times that you played and the things that you did. Take these memories and continue on with the rest of your lives. You were young men when you started practice and the season. You all matured into some fine young men and are ready for any task that life throws at you. Prepare yourself for easy and hard times to come. Just remember, there is always someone to talk to should you need to talk. For myself, I am extremely pleased with your efforts this year. No matter what happens from this posting of mine forward....just know this........I witnessed some young men playing the game of football and withing playing that game of football, you learned how to look out for one another and you learned to play together as a team. No matter what team you are on in your life going forward, remember that teamwork means pulling together and playing as one. Whether you are going to college, joining the military or taking on another venue in your life - never look back at the bad times, only the good! Bad times help you get stronger.....good times help you stay stronger!!!!
Proud of each and everyone of you! Thanks for the memories.....SARGE
